Position Summary

Ingage is looking for a passionate, detail-driven, well-rounded Senior Designer who enjoys working on a variety of creative initiatives. In this role you will support our brand by extensively collaborating with the marketing, sales and product teams. You will produce new sales collateral, use the Ingage Platform to build templates and interactive presentations for customers, generate production-ready layouts and illustrations for videos and animations, and lead the ongoing development of the Ingage website. You will play an important role by not only designing and delivering, but by being a mentor for other designers, educating our users and representing the Design team in customer conversations.


You Are

You have a strong foundation in visual design with an understanding of typography, grids, color, white space, and hierarchy. You have worked in a product focused environment and excel in pulling together requirements and concepts to clearly communicate your ideas through wireframes and prototypes. You can generate high-fidelity layouts and designs to be used in our product, on the web and occasionally in print. You have experience working within brand, identity and style guidelines and understand the importance of knowing how and when to push the boundaries of a brand. You are a master in presenting these creative concepts and pieces to both customers and internal managers and stakeholders.


You Will

  • Develop and produce designs based on a client problem or industry use case. This will involve, but will not be limited to:

  • Defining content strategies

  • Building sitemaps, wireframes, UI/UX, and visual designs

  • Slicing and saving assets from file formats like psd and sketch

  • Working with our Ingage Platform to build interactive experiences, templates and proof of concepts for new and existing customers

  • Play an active role in supporting the sales team by educating and onboarding our customers to the Ingage Platform

  • Be able to learn new software and systems

  • Take an active role in customer presentations and communications

  • Maintain production workflows on long-term projects

  • Play an active role in translating customer needs into well defined features of our core product

  • Be an integral member of the marketing team, with the creation of internal and external facing branded collateral for social media, web ads, one pagers and video content


You Have

  • 3+ years of mobile and/or web design experience

  • Experience designing and building websites with Squarespace and/or Wordpress

  • Understanding of animation and motion graphics, technically in terms of how they’re done, and creatively in terms of converting 2D assets into dynamic interactive modules

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills to coordinate with project managers, technical leads, other creatives, customers, and third-party agencies

  • Experience working in a digital production environment using the following applications: Sketch, Zeplin, AfterEffects, Photoshop, Adobe Xd and Illustrator

  • Familiarity with Google Docs and/or Microsoft Office

  • Comfort  working on multiple projects simultaneously and playing an integral part from concept to completion with painstaking attention to detail

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to develop strategies, concepts, and solutions

  • Flexibility and comfort in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment with rapidly changing business needs

  • Willingness to take direction and feedback

  • Familiarity with the capabilities and limitations of common web/interactive technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web video/audio

  • Familiarity with production management tools such as Jira and Bitbucket is a plus

  • Ability to direct junior and production designers in order to create successful solutions
